Q: How can I get a book or other circulating item that is at another campus or another college library?

Our libraries offer lending privileges to current MGCCC faculty, staff, and studentsCirculating items may be borrowed from MGCCC campuses through intercampus loan or from other libraries within the United States through Interlibrary Loan. To get an item through intercampus loan, request the title you need in the catalog. Intercampus loan items will be brought over on the campus shuttle and you will be notified when it is ready to checkout.

Student interlibrary loan requests will require advisor sponsorship. Contact your campus library to request an item through interlibrary loan. Interlibrary loan requests for books or journal articles may take up to several weeks for delivery of requested items. Interlibrary Loan is typically a free service, but some college libraries charge fees for copying articles.  Borrowers will be informed of any loan amount before the item is ordered.
