What Resources do the PRCC Libraries Offer?

The PRCC Libraries offer many resources to its students, instructors, and community members. Some of these resources are located within the library, but many can be accessed online!

The library can be a quiet place to study or take a break from classes. All three of our locations offer free computer access with high-speed internetWi-fi is available for students and guests wishing to use personal devices.

Laptops are available for students who wish to work at a table or in our lounge area. Simply bring your student ID to the circulation desk to check one out.

Printing is available through the WEPA print kiosks. WEPA provides a cloud-based system allowing users to upload documents locally or remotely. Students will need their school ID as well as a form  of payment (WEPA prepaid card, debit card, credit card, or paypal) to access the kiosks. Learn more about printing by reading "How do I Use WEPA Print Kiosks at PRCC"

Books held in the libraries are available for checkout using a school ID. Search our book collections by using our online catalog. Students may check out up to five books at a time. All books are due back by the end of the semester. Read the "How do I Find and Check-Out Books at PRCC Libraries" page for more.

E-books, short for "electronic books" are a convenient way to read books without having to go to the library.  PRCC offers two e-book collections: eBook Collection by EBSCOhost and Ebrary by ProQuest. Read the "How do I Access and Use PRCC eBook Collections" page for more.

Database access is available for PRCC students and instructors. Students searching for academic journal articles, periodicals,  reference material, and subject-specific research should find what they are looking for in one of our many databases.  Read the "How do I Access and Use PRCC Databases" page for more.

Testing Centers are located in the libraries. The centers serve PRCC as well as non-PRCC students who are required to take proctored exams.  To find out more about each location and to ensure efficiency, be sure to Read "Where are the PRCC Testing Centers", "What are PRCC Testing Center Rules and Policies", and "How do I Schedule a Proctored Exam " for more.
